Zoe is growing fast!

I was cooking breakfast a few days ago and had put Zoe in her Bumbo seat to play next to Katya and Thea. Typically she's pretty happy to sit and chew on toys and watch the two big sisters play. After five minutes or so I poked my head in to check on everyone and Zoe was out of the seat and a foot or two away near some toys. Of course I immediately wanted to know who had taken Zoe out of her seat and moved her (a major no-no unless permission is given). Katya answered saying that Zoe did it herself because she wanted her toys. I guess she is now on her way to crawling. I guess I better strap my skates back on. :)

This picture is of Zoe quite pleased with herself on her first venture out alone.

"No rest for the wicked"...

I think that is the saying. I told the girls that they could have a slumber party tonight. It's 8:48p.m. and it sounds like there are twelve girls in the room instead of only two. What is it about the word party that makes little ones go nuts? I love it. Oh well, I have the rest of my life to sleep. :) Oh yes, and for those of you who are panicking at seeing the wee one in the middle. Don't worry, she is no longer part of the party.

I love Texas in the Springtime!

Well, we are recovering from Pascha and since I didn't get pictures of my girls in their Pascha dresses (without mud and chocolate), I thought I would take them over to a bluebonnet patch by our house and take a few pictures. The flowers were georgous and so fragrant! Anyhow, the photo session was nutty and the girls were running all over the field like, well, toddlers. :) After we got them out of the ant bed and settled down, I got a few good pics. I told my husband that if we get a couple of decent photos out of fifty shots or so we would be doing good. I love digital cameras. Here are a few pics.

(Notice that Thea won't put her bottom back down on the ground?)
